　　我在深圳的老街捉到了一只蟋蟀，养在瓶子里。这是我第一次见到蟋蟀，我真开心啊！爸爸说：“蟋蟀爱吃树叶。”我就喂给它青草、树叶、花生米还有桔子皮上的“白线”。开始它还胆战心惊的，不知道这些能不能吃。它象虾一样先伸出触角碰一下，然后赶紧后退；过一会再用触角碰一下，再后退······直到确定没有危险，就放胆大嚼，吃得津津有味。第二天一早，我在酒店醒来，看到瓶子里的蟋蟀变得更强壮，我很有成就感。

　　I caught a cricket in the old street of Shenzhen and kept it in a bottle. This is my first time to see crickets. I'm so happy! Dad said, "crickets like to eat leaves." I will feed it grass, leaves, peanuts and "white thread" on orange peel. At first, it was frightened. I don't know if it can eat these. Like a shrimp, it first reaches out its tentacles and touches them, then moves back quickly; later, it touches them again, and then moves back... Until it is sure that there is no danger, it is bold to chew and eat with relish. The next morning, I woke up in the hotel and saw the crickets in the bottle getting stronger. I felt very fulfilled.
