　　昨天，我们全家去西湖路逛花市。花市里的花多得数不清：菊花、兰花、玫瑰、百合花、水仙花、仙人球、马蹄莲……我和爸爸妈妈一起买了许多花，连手都提酸了。

买花英语日记

　　Yesterday, my family went to the flower market on West Lake Road. There are countless flowers in the flower market: chrysanthemum, orchid, rose, lily, Narcissus, cactus, Calla... I bought a lot of flowers with my parents, which made my hands sour.

　　我们首先买了一盆风信子和一盆水仙花，这两种花都有着迷人的香味，是我喜欢的花。我们又先后买了一大束百合花和三盆兰花。百合花是每年必买的，因为它象征着百年好合，也是妈妈最爱的花。这三盆兰花更是美，一盆拥有水红色的花朵，过了一晚就鲜花怒放，显得婀娜多姿。另一盆是淡黄色的，花虽然只开了几朵，可花却越看越显得高贵。还有一盆是我最喜爱的：它虽然只有十五个花苞，却有一种自然的美，它的花蕊是紫色的，花瓣是雪白的，花枝亭亭玉立，从远处看，好似仙女下凡。闻了闻它的花，一阵淡淡的清香令人神清气爽。最后，我们还买了一盆红掌，红掌的花形像船帆，代表着一帆风顺。

　　We first bought a basin of hyacinth and a basin of Narcissus, both of which have charming fragrance and are my favorite flowers. We bought a bunch of lilies and three pots of orchids. Lily is a must buy every year, because it symbolizes a hundred years of love, but also the mother's favorite flower. These three pots of orchids are even more beautiful. One pot has the water red flowers. After one night, the flowers are in full bloom, which looks graceful. Another basin is light yellow, although only a few flowers, but the more the flowers look more noble. Another basin is my favorite: although it has only 15 bracts, it has a natural beauty. Its pistils are purple, petals are white, and branches are slim. From a distance, it looks like a fairy coming to earth. When I smell its flowers, a light fragrance makes me feel refreshed. Finally, we also bought a pot of red palm. The flower of red palm is like a sail, which represents smooth sailing.

　　几盆花摆在家里，不时闻到阵阵花香，买了这么多花，当然是预示着新的一年平平安安、吉祥如意。

　　A few pots of flowers are placed at home. From time to time, I smell the fragrance of flowers and buy so many flowers. Of course, it indicates that the new year will be peaceful and auspicious.
