　　今天是圣诞节。一大早起床，我就兴奋得不得了，我发现床头有个大大的圣诞袜。这时妈妈走过来神秘地说：“这是昨天晚上圣诞老人从烟囱来到咱们家送给你的礼物。”我迷惑地说：“我们家哪里有烟囱呀。”妈妈笑着说：“是从窗户飞进来的。”我说：“可你不睡觉呀，你怎么知道呢?”妈妈摸了摸我的头说：“我和你开玩笑呢，是妈妈送给你的圣诞礼物。”我一骨碌爬起来，打开一看是《福尔摩斯探案集》。啊，这可是我期待已入的书!我高兴地手舞足蹈起来，把书捧在怀里，爱不释手。

　　妈妈趁机给我讲起圣诞节的由来。原来呀，圣诞节是纪念救世主耶稣的，他的生日是12月25日。在西方，这是一个很重要的节日，和我们中国的春节差不多。
