Lantern Festival is a China's traditional festival. It is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the first month of the lunar year.
I,antern Festival is one of the biggest holidays in China. Several days before Lantern Festival, people begin to make lanterns. Lanterns are made in the shape of different animals, vegetables, fruits and many, other things. While making lanterns people usually write riddles on lanterns.
On the eve of Lantern Festival, all the lanterns are hung up.
On Lantern Festival people go outside to have a look at the lanterns and guess the riddles on the lanterns. Perhaps you call see some wonderful folk performances,Dragon Dance and Yangko. Everything is very interesting and everyone is very happy.
Our life is rich and varied.

Today I came back from a place named “he chuan”, it’s a good place. There has some nice view like chang jiang river. I came there in two days ago. Our aunt is here. We had a good time in there. How happy I am. Yesterday I finished all the work very quick, so I have a lot of time to do myself. Sometimes finish work early is a good thing, we can have more interests to do the next work. Yesterday I came to the center of Chongqing with my mother. We came to a place named “toward the air door”. I think many people know it. This holiday is my best busy holiday for I am learning English, computer and word and I fall in the weekend exam. keeping a diary in english is one of the effective ways to improve our english writing ability. compared with other forms of writing, it is shorter and takes less time. it can help us to cultivate the habit of thinking in english. if we persist in his practice, gradually we’ll learn how to express ourselves in english.
in keeping a diary in english, we inevitably run up against a lot of difficulties. in the first place, it often happens that we have trouble finding appropriate words and phrases to give expression to our mind. secondly, there are many idiomatic ways of saying things in chinese. and it is extremely hard for us to put them into english properly. certainly, there are some other roadblocks we may come across in our keeping a diary in english.
as far as i’m concerned, my suggestion is that we should always have a note book and a chinese-english dictionary within easy reach. whenever something beats us, we can first put it down in our notebook and then consult our dictionary. we can also turn to our english teacher for help, if necessary. in short, it is of great use to keep a diary in english for the development of our writing skills.

My mother was worried and asked the doctor, “What’s the matter with him?”
“He has a bad cold, but it’s nothing serious. ” the doctor said.
Then the doctor let me take some medicine. He asked me to stay in bed and have a good rest.

In fact, I like all of his songs. Every day I was looking forward tohis performance. Finally the day came. We went there by car with excite-ment because we would hear him singing face to face for the first time.We reached the gym early so that we could have very good seats. At 19:30 the concert began. All song lovers present got excited at the moment he appeared. Suddenly all the people present began to sing with him to the music. In the course of the concert,he occasionally joked,full of hu-mour.
We all got mad when he sang his latest songs. At last we sang his old songs together. The concert was wonderful and gained a great suc-cess.
After we came back home,we kept talking about the concert and found it hard to get to sleep.
